At each meeting every member receives 30 seconds to pass referrals and do their commercial. Begin by informing members “The best referral for me would be…” When do I get to Greet, Business Preview and Speak?
The Program Chairperson sets a schedule so everyone has an opportunity as they join the group. The first week you Greet; second week you are Business Previewer; and the third week you are the Speaker. What do I do when I’m asked to be the Business Previewer?
Business Previewing allows each member to properly explain their business to fellow members. This is an opportunity to talk before a very supportive audience. Remember, we all get a chance to talk, so we are empathetic to all!How long do I have when I am the Speaker?
Ten minutes when the group has fewer than 20 members. Each week’s Speaker is asked to arrive and set up their display of products or services early. Making a real effort to display your business will have an enormous impact on the amount of tips you receive from fellow members. Most Speakers receive more than their average weekly referral count at this single meeting. What is Visitation Day?
At the first monthly meeting, all members are asked to visit another member at their place of business for 20 to 30 minutes to learn about their business. At the third monthly meeting, you will give a commercial for that member when you receive the referral bucket. Can someone attend meetings in my place?
An alternate may attend 6 times per year, and never more than 2 consecutive meetings. Who tracks my attendance and whom do I call if I’m going to miss a meeting?
The Vice President. Always call if you’re going to miss a meeting. You must attend at least 80% of all meetings.
